Niko Rosales

I am Niko Rosales, a proud transgender latina woman, and the daughter of Cuban and Guatemalan parents. My lived experiences navigating identities that my family and culture did not understand inspired my commitment to advocating for the LGBTQ+ community. I recently earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and plan to continue my education by researching topics surrounding psychology, intersectionality, queer theory/liberation, and social justice. In many ways, this project represents the beginning of my new journey.
