Oriana Ides

Oriana comes to this work as a mother, daughter, and chosen sister—someone whose path has

been shaped by both personal and collective experiences of healing and survival. Her

commitment to community health and liberation is lifelong, and rooted in the belief that our

healing is intertwined. Oriana’s work grows from lived and living experience as a daughter of immigrants who has been forced to navigated gender-based violence and sexual assault invarious forms. She is guided by the principles of healing justice, collective care, and trauma-informed practice. Over the years, she has walked alongside young people, families, and communities enduring systemic harm and internalized oppression. Through this, she’s witnessed the power of connection, storytelling, and culturally grounded healing to transform pain into strength and purpose.
