Patricia Tototzintle

Patricia (Patti) Tototzintle is a nationally recognized consultant, trainer, and leadership coach. She has over 35 years of experience in community development and nonprofit management. Patti is passionate about tapping into and developing the strengths of women and diverse community members.  Today, in addition to her work as an independent consultant, she is a board member of VALOR US, a leading national sexual assault organization located in California. In 2024, Patti received the Ruth Glenn Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Domestic Violence Hotline.  

Patti retired in December 2024, after serving as President and CEO of Esperanza United (formerly Casa de Esperanza and the National Latin@ Network), the largest Latin@ organization in the country focused on gender-based violence. Patti joined the organization in 2002 and provided programming, administrative, and financial oversight during her 22 years of leadership.   

Patti and her cat, Boots, live in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Her sons and daughter all live in the area, which makes her very happy.  In addition to providing consulting services, she is passionate about writing poetry and will also be focusing on short stories moving forward.
